Health and safety rules, ride by ride
Two attractions carry health warnings on their signage. These are the exact conditions listed there.
Aqua Dash Water Slides
- are pregnant
- have a limb or back weakness or disability
- suffer from heart ailments
- have any condition a ride could aggravate
Jewellery, watches and spectacles can’t be worn. Under 5s need a fully paid adult with them at all times; children 4 and under may ride tandem with an adult.
Mechanical Bull Rider
- are pregnant
- have a heart condition
- have neck, back or spinal problems
- have recently had surgery or an injury
- have epilepsy, seizures or a condition affected by sudden movement
- have shoulder, hip, knee or joint problems
Riders must be able to mount, sit and hold on independently. Loose items — including glasses — come off before riding. Under 18s need parent or guardian consent.
Gentler, all-ages options
Mini golf, the Mine Shaft Maze and the Rio Grande Train have no height limit and no posted health warnings — a good full day on their own. If your group includes someone who can’t use the slides or the Bull Rider, these three are where most families spend the afternoon.
Accessibility questions
Quick answers
I'm pregnant — what can I do?
Both the water slides and the Bull Rider list pregnancy as a reason not to ride. Mini golf, the maze and the train have no posted restriction. If you’re joining the family but not playing, a $10 Spectator Pass covers entry.
I have an injury or a cast
The Bull Rider can’t be used after recent surgery or injury, and the water slides can’t be used with a limb or back weakness or any condition a ride could aggravate. The gentler attractions have no posted restriction — talk to our ride team on arrival about the rest.
Do you accept Companion Cards or assistance animals?
Please contact us before you visit so we can confirm the arrangements for your group — details below.
Can I wear my glasses?
Not on the water slides — spectacles aren’t permitted there. On the Bull Rider, glasses come off with other loose items before you ride. Everywhere else, keep them on.
What if a ride isn't suitable after I've paid?
That’s why this page exists — use the checker before you buy. If only some of your group can ride, the Adventure Package skips the water park, and a Spectator Pass is $10 for anyone not playing. See tickets & pricing.
Who makes the final decision?
Our ride operators. Their instructions come from the ride manufacturers and they have final authority to refuse or stop a ride for safety — it’s never personal.
