Laser Battle
Team up for an outdoor Laser Battle using electronic infrared taggers and inflatable battlefield obstacles. Join the Red Team or Blue Team, take cover, tag your opponents and return to base when your tagger tells you that you’ve been deactivated.
No paintballs, pellets or projectiles — the system uses infrared technology.

Your Outdoor Battlefield
The Laser Battle field is set up with inflatable obstacles and separate Red and Blue team bases. Use the obstacles for cover, stay aware of other players and follow the game briefing before the battle begins.
Inflatable Battlefield
Use the inflatable obstacles for cover as you move around the field. Do not climb, sit or jump on the obstacles.
Blue Team Base
Start with your Blue Team and return here when your tagger tells you that you are deactivated.
Red Team Base
Start with your Red Team and return here when your tagger tells you that you are deactivated.
Reactivate & Return
If your tagger is deactivated, return to your team’s base and reactivate at the Medic Box before heading back into the battle.
Use Cover Smartly
Move between the inflatable obstacles, stay aware of other players and use the field for cover. Keep clear of other players and avoid physical contact.
Listen Before You Play
Every game starts with a quick safety and game briefing. Learn your team, your base, how to use the tagger and what to do when you’re deactivated.

Laser Battle Safety Rules
Please follow these rules to keep the game safe and enjoyable for everyone. Players who ignore the rules or staff instructions may be asked to leave the battlefield.
Follow the Briefing
Listen to the game and safety briefing before entering the battlefield. Know your team, your base and what to do when your tagger is deactivated.
No Rough Play
Laser Battle is a tagging game, not a contact sport. No pushing, tackling, grabbing or deliberate physical contact.
Stay on the Ground
Move around the designated battlefield only. Do not climb, sit or jump on the inflatable obstacles.
Look Where You’re Going
Stay aware of other players and obstacles. Move quickly if you wish, but stay in control and avoid collisions.
Look After the Tagger
Hold your tagger securely. Do not throw, drop, hit another player with it or deliberately strike obstacles.
Follow Staff Instructions
Stop immediately when instructed by staff and leave the field safely when the game ends.
Family fun for everyone
The rules exist so every group gets a fair game. Follow them and everybody has a good session.
Laser Battle involves active movement around an outdoor playing field and may involve slips, trips or collisions. Participation is subject to Dunsborough Fun Park’s Conditions of Entry, Participant Waiver and all posted safety rules.

Before you ask us
How old do you need to be?
We recommend Laser Battle for players aged 6 and over. Players must be able to safely hold and operate the tagger, understand the game briefing and follow staff instructions.
What is a Cobra?
A Cobra is the electronic infrared tagger used during Laser Battle. Each player is given a tagger assigned to either the Red Team or Blue Team. Aim at the sensors on the opposing team’s taggers and pull the trigger to score a tag.
Do the taggers fire anything?
No. There are no paintballs, pellets or projectiles. The system uses infrared technology and electronic sensors.
How many people do we need?
A minimum of 6 players is required, giving you at least 3 players on the Red Team and 3 on the Blue Team.
What happens when I’m deactivated?
Return to your team base and reactivate at the Medic Box before heading back into the battle.
Can we climb on the inflatable obstacles?
No. The inflatable obstacles are for cover only. Do not climb, sit or jump on them, and always stay aware of other players around you.
