The question we get most
Can my child ride the bull?
Riders must be 8 years or older, at least 120 cm tall and weigh no more than 100 kg. They must also be able to sit securely, hold on independently and follow the operator’s instructions. If you’re unsure, speak with our team before joining the queue.

Mechanical Bull safety rules
Read these rules before joining the queue and go through them with your children. Our operator will explain how to sit, hold on and signal if you want the ride stopped.
Do — for a safe ride
- Follow all instructions from the ride operator.
- Wait for the operator’s permission before entering the ride area.
- Secure loose belongings and remove loose accessories before boarding.
- Tie back long hair.
- Sit facing forward and follow the riding position demonstrated by the operator.
- Hold the designated handle as instructed.
- Listen carefully to the operator’s briefing about losing balance and falling.
- Wait until the bull has completely stopped and the operator gives permission before mounting or dismounting.
- Tell the operator immediately if you feel unwell, uncomfortable or want to stop.
- Riders must be able to sit securely and hold on independently.
- Under 8s require parent or guardian consent in accordance with our Conditions of Entry.
Do — for a safe ride
- Do not stand, kneel, sit backwards or attempt tricks on the bull.
- Do not grab the bull’s head, horns or mechanical parts.
- Do not mount or remount without the operator’s permission.
- Do not deliberately jump from the bull.
- Do not enter the inflatable area while another person is riding.
- Do not ride with another person or carry a child.
- Do not bring food, drinks or sharp objects into the ride area.
- Do not use phones or handle loose objects while riding.
- Do not push or interfere with another rider.
- Don't ignore the operator's instructions.
- Don't use the ride if you cannot hold on securely.
- Do not ride while affected by alcohol or drugs.
Do not ride if you:
- Are pregnant.
- Have a heart condition.
- Have neck, back or spinal problems.
- Have recently had surgery or an injury.
- Have epilepsy, seizures or a medical condition affected by sudden movement.
- Have shoulder, hip, knee or joint problems.
- Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Mechanical Bull riding involves sudden movement, spinning, bucking and falls, which may cause injury.

How old and how tall do you have to be?
Riders must be at least 8 years old and 120 cm tall, with a maximum rider weight of 100 kg. Riders must also be able to mount, sit and hold on safely. Our operator will confirm rider suitability before the ride begins.
What happens if I fall off?
The Mechanical Bull is surrounded by an inflatable safety area designed to cushion riders when they come off the bull. If you lose your balance, let go and allow yourself to land on the inflatable area rather than trying to hold on unnecessarily.
What should I wear, and where do my things go?
Wear comfortable clothing that permits safe movement. Tie back long hair and remove loose items like phones, keys, jewellery, hats, and glasses prior to riding. Secure your belongings with a family member or in a safe location. Shoes must be removed.
Who should not ride the Mechanical Bull?
For your safety, do not ride if you are pregnant, affected by alcohol or drugs, feeling unwell or dizzy, or have a medical condition, injury or physical limitation that could be aggravated by sudden movement or falling. Please speak with our team before riding if you are unsure.
Can the operator control the speed?
Yes. The Mechanical Bull is controlled by our trained operator, who can adjust the movement and speed to suit the rider. If you feel uncomfortable or want the ride stopped, signal or tell the operator immediately.
Do I need to sign anything for my teenager?
Yes. All participants must be included on a waiver before entering the park. A parent or guardian can complete the waiver and include children in their care.
Waivers are completed at the park entrance by scanning the QR code or using the tablet provided. We currently do not accept online-signed waivers.
Can two of us ride at once?
No. Only one rider is permitted on the Mechanical Bull at a time. No other person may enter the inflatable ride area while the bull is operating.
How long does the Mechanical Bull ride last?
Up to 3 minutes. In automatic mode, the bull progresses through three difficulty levels — Greenhorn, Cowboy and Ambush — becoming more challenging as the ride continues. The ride may finish earlier if the rider comes off or the operator stops it for safety.
